This Winter, the teams at Liquorland, First Choice, Vintage Cellars and Liquor Market will be selling $2 donation cards to raise funds for SecondBite.
We are proud to partner with these stores for a second year to help provide healthy meals for people in need. Thanks to the generous support of their customers, they raised a combined total of $750,000 in 2016, enough for an incredible 2,625,000 meals. This year, the teams are aiming to round that up to $1 million, which in total will help SecondBite deliver 4 MILLION meals around the country.
To do this, we need your help. Every $2 card purchased provides enough funds to provide 8 healthy meals for people doing it tough.
All funds raised go towards collecting, sorting, storing and redistributing surplus food that is donated free of charge to SecondBite and provided at no cost to over 1,200 food agencies right around Australia.
Every kilogram rescued is enough for two meals for people doing it tough. We proudly support agencies in all shapes and sizes, from school breakfast clubs, to soup kitchens, community meals and pantry style food programs. We provide food free of charge so that there are no barriers to a nutritious meal, and we couldn’t do it without the support of our financial donors, food donors and incredible volunteers.
