Every $1 donated enables us to distribute enough food for five hearty 500g meals.
Here are some ways your generosity can help:
$10 – Volunteer Gear: sponsor a SecondBite t-shirt for our growing family of volunteers.
$20 – Keep Kids Kicking Goals: you will provide plates of nutritious snacks and fresh fruit for the weekly Collingwood Children’s Soccer Program. Run by the Fitzroy Police, the program aims to encourage children living in local housing estates to jump and play towards a better future. Each week, SecondBite provides over 20kg of fresh fruit for the kids to enjoy throughout their games.
$50 – A Happy Dinner Table: you can supply enough fresh nutritious food to feed a family of four for a week – breakfast, lunch and dinner.
$200 – Keeping it Cool: keep one of our cool rooms operational for a month, ensuring that tonnes and tonnes of food are kept fresh and ready to be made into hearty meals for people in need.
$500 – From Greenhouse to Their House: divert a tonne of quality food from landfill to feed hundreds of people in need while preventing almost a tonne of greenhouse gas emissions.
